New telemetry CTG device and Bili Blanket for Pula General Hospital

Today on November 29th, Arena Hospitality Group and BINA Istria in cooperation with UNICEF provided telemetry CTG, device that wirelessly measures baby's heartbeats and mother’s contractions and a Bili Blanket, fiber-optic blanket that uses phototherapy to treat newborns that have jaundice, to Maternity ward within Pula General Hospital.

Funds for the acquisition of these valuable devices were raised as part of the Rocks and & Stars @ Cave Romane Festival, organized by Medulin Riviera with the support of the Municipality of Medulin and the Tourist Board of Medulin, in co-organization with RTL Music. Arena Hospitality Group and BINA Istria, as humanitarian partners of the festival, in cooperation with the organizers, donated HRK 150,000 to UNICEF program for support of the youngest children in Croatia. UNICEF invested collected funds in purchase of above mentioned specialized equipment for newborns and mothers in order to improve conditions in the Maternity ward within Pula General Hospital.

Reli Slonim, President of the Management Board and Manuela Kraljević, Member of the Management Board who were proud to have taken part in such an important project that will allow mothers and their babies to have safer and more peaceful moments when they need it most, were also present, on behalf of Arena Hospitality Group, at the handover of equipment at Pula General Hospital.
