Beyond luxury and comfort, art'otel Zagreb exemplifies ecological sustainability. Through innovative approaches and green construction, the hotel underwent a comprehensive energy renovation, including insulation of exterior walls, floors, and roof, replacement of carpentry, and installation of energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. These systems are centrally managed through an automated monitoring and control system (AMCS). As a result, the hotel has improved from energy class E to energy class A.
Sustainable materials and the principles of a circular economy were employed, with more than 70% of construction waste being recycled. The renovation utilized materials with ecological certifications and installed water-saving fixtures and toilet tanks in compliance with EU taxonomy, meeting DNSH principles for water savings. Advanced technologies, such as GreenPoint, IP telephony, IPTV systems, and green infrastructure, have been integrated into the hotel. Additionally, a "Smart Room" system has been implemented.
Continuous efforts are made to enhance procurement and food preparation processes to minimize waste. The use of public transport and bicycles is promoted to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. art'otel Zagreb remains committed to innovation and green practices, providing guests with high-quality services with minimal environmental impact.
